The Whole Package Navy Strapless Dress, $92 Lulu's
I'm going for a winter wonderland look this holiday season and whether the party is fancy or dance-y, I just want to sparkle! This flirty little dress from Lulu's really is the whole package: it's got glitter, it's got sequins, it's got a pretty bow to make you feel like a present! To complete the ensemble, I paired it with navy, glitter heels and a silver, iridescent eye shadow. Party guests are gonna need their ski goggles on when I walk in!
Sleep in These
When it comes to sleepwear I diverge in multiple directions from stylish to sexy to pure comfort. When I'm going for a little "action" in the bedroom then the lacy pieces make an appearance. When it's cold outside the cotton pj's get pulled from the drawer. And on a regular basis a soft tank from Jockey with boy shorts is my routine. And then there's the pajamas that are worn when guests visit or we visit family. Since the bedroom holds the attraction for sex and sleep I'm sharing top "realistic" picks for both categories.

Cosabella Talco V-Neck Camisole, $79 Bare Necessities
Modern Tactel Cami, $15 Jockey
Kimono Style Robe, $65 Pretty Plum Sugar
I'm not really a sleepwear kinda girl, just give me a soft comfy tank (bonus if it has a shelf bra) and some boyshort undies and I am good to go! I do, however, love a pretty robe for lounging around before bed or after waking in the morning. It feels like instant touch of glam to my simple tank & undies. I have loved Pretty Plum Sugar's robes for so long! Many of our brides wear them when getting ready and some even gift them to their bridesmaids for them to all get ready in before the wedding. They definitely add a little touch of pretty!
Unisex California Fleece Sweatshirt, $47 American Apparel
Merona Boot Socks, $7 Target
When it comes to sleepwear, I keep it simple. After a long day, I totally want to bum out and usually the old, oversized clothes are my first grab. This sweater from American Apparel is uber warm and has only gotten comfier with each wear. And since I love the feeling of bare sheets on my legs I don't even bother with pants, just a cute pair of boyfriend undies. My bed time look isn't complete without a pair of comfy socks. It's certainly a Flashdance feel and I most definitely channel my Irene Cara, because to be warm and cozy "what a feelin!"
Some call it oxblood, others say maroon, but we call it burgundy and it's a hot trend this season for your wardrobe. Whether it's a dress, pants or even shoes, add burgundy to your closet this season whether in a solid or a piece that shares the spotlight with other colors. The rich hue will win you over.

Christina Wright's Pick
Tinley Road Notch Neck A-Line Dress, $79 Piperlime
I typically don't like burgundy colored fashion. Maybe it's too deep a tone for me since I usually like bright colors, but this dress has definitely caught my attention. I can see pairing with some fun gold jewelry for date night. It's making me look at burgundy in a whole new light!
Lauren Scharf's Pick
Burgundy Cable Knit Sweater, $28 Ustrendy
Nothing warms me up quite like a burgundy sweater. I love the loose, snuggly fit of this sweater, and the breezy, cable-knit pattern makes it perfect for layering as the chilly holiday season makes it's grand entrance. I always pair this sweater with some chunky gold jewelry or a golden-yellow scarf for a look that's just as cozy for the eyes as it is for your shoulders.
Christina Moffitino's Pick
Viva Glam I Lipstick, $15 MAC Cosmetics
When Fall comes, it's hello scarves and boots and red lipstick! I always love the look of my deep red lipstick on the top of a coffee cup lid especially one that's a deep burgundy. I find lipstick to be the perfect pick me up if you're having a stressful week or feeling tired. Burgundy lips are the perfect accent to any look and can easily be transitioned from a night to day look with a little smoky eye and a quick wardrobe change.

We adore the range of rich hues and the patterns of stick-ons seems endless. So shake a few more hands so you can show off your colors.

"After School Boy Blazer" Nail Polish, $8.50 Essie
"Oh My Gold" and "Love to You All" Nail sleeck sticks, $10.25 Essie
One of my favorite nail brands is Essie, they always have the hottest colors every season! This fall I am drooling over the deep rich blue of "after school boy blazer"; it's subdued enough to really make these amazing nail art pieces stand out! I can't decide which one I like more, "love to you all" or "oh my gold". They both are so fab!
I love dual toned colors on my nails. It's almost like a whole new manicure depending on whether I'm in the sun or shade! Gold is a shade that suits me in every season, and I love that this Zoya polish has a fiery, pinkish hue. Following the fab and flaming theme, not to mention the always fashionable ombre look, I've got these nail wraps from Incoco that fade from deep black and purple to glitzy gold. It's almost like staring at the sun during an eclipse, but much easier- and less dangerous- on the eyes!
When it comes to my nails, the possibilities are endless. My bi-weekly nail choices depend on my mood. When I want a look that's on the simpler side my go-to color is a deep red. I love this OPI shade because it's a rich red hue that makes it a classic pick. I'm a girl who always likes to make a statement and what better way than with some funky nails. These NCLA nail wraps are fun to mix and match with other nail polishes or just go all out and wear them on all 10 fingers. Go cray cray with your nails on Sunday night to Instagram your look for Mani Monday and give yourself something to look forward to for the beginning of your week!
The Big Chill
It may seem too early to shop for a coat, but it'll be worth it to shop now and have plenty of choices from the top trends and be prepared when those artic-like winds start blowing.
Admit it, last year around this time you were probably headed to work wearing a waist skimming, lightweight jacket and thinking, "my it's chilly this morning" so you decide it's time to switch to a pumpkin spice latte to warm you up. Then by lunchtime, the sun is blazing and you're sweating. Speed forward to a week later and Halloween night arrives and you've got on that skimpy little costume to wear to the party. You pull on that same lightweight jacket from the week prior and that's when the wind picks up and that jacket suddenly feels paper thin. You had planned to walk to the party, but now you're hailing a cab or asking your boyfriend to drop you off at the door while he looks for a parking space.
That's where we come in with 21 of the top picks for coats this fall.

Fit and Flare Wool Coat, $250.60 Armani Exchange
I'll be excited to bust out my winter wear once temperatures finally drop here in LA; one of my favorites pieces being coats! I love the latest colors, trends and patterns this season, but I still love a classic. This fit and flare shape does a body good when you're layering to keep warm. I look sleek with tights and thigh high boots for a night out or even straight leg jeans and cut out booties. The neutral color choice in sand is one that works with every outfit and a piece I know I'll reuse year after year. To spice things up, color can come into play with a patterned scarf and a deep red lipcolor.
Khaki Windbreaker, $46 Ahai Shopping
Cold and dreary weather can get me down, so I like a coat with some color and a bold contrast to pick me up. This navy-khaki coloblock combination has a chic look and a flattering fit, made with a cotton blend that doesn't feel heavy. I also love the belts at the waist and cuffs, not to mention the golden crest buttons that give it a bit of a military look.
Nine West Wool-Blend Boucle Car Coat, $137.19 Macy's
I love with this boucle colorblock coat from Nine West. The grey tweed with the black is awesome! It will go with anything! And the price, equally awesome. I just can't handle it. It's a total must have!

Style Report from the Runway
A cocktail dress in the top trending color burgundy or a one shoulder ethereal style gown for a black tie affair, you choose. Designer Erin Fetherston offered options that work well for several events this season.
I'm from New York and now live in Los Angeles, it seems black is the color of choice on both coasts. While I am a big proponent of wearing color for a boost of confidence and gettting noticed, I understand that most women gravitate to black as their style "liferaft;" the color that makes them feel safe. Perhaps it's that knowledge that was behind designer Erin Fetherston's decision to make black dominate her Fall collection. What I adore is that she didn't play it safe with the design of the garments. Every piece has edgy details.
Far from boring or basic.
Ghouls Just Want to Have Fun!
It's easy to plan ahead and buy a costume, but sometimes you get an invite last minute or you'd prefer to wear clothes that come from your own wardrobe or new items you'd wear again. Unlike a bridemaids dress these items can be added to your existing wardrobe after you - the creative genius - turned them into a costume for a Halloween party. We wanted to prepare you with our real clothes turned Halloween costume picks for this week's Friday Favorites.
I chose two stars that dominate my karoake playlist.
Madonna & Olivia Newton-John
Creating these costumes are relatively simple and you'll want to wear the goods all season.
Madonna - Desperately Seeking Susan (1985)
Cigarette Girl: Susan! My god we thought you were dead.
Susan: No, just in New Jersey.
The goods: Pile on bracelets and cuffs on your wrists and lots of chains around your neck. Black pants-You probably own several pairs. Black sneakers or black pumps. Curl your hair, spray on lots of hairspray and add a black ribbon or scarf to tie it back.
What you probably need:
Tinley Road Strapless Ponte Bustier, $19.97 Piperlime
Sabine Tribal Moto Jacket, $89 Piperlime
Olivia Newtown-John - Grease (1978)
"Tell me about it stud."
The goods: Add lots of curls to your hair. Wear hoop earrings. Add a bustier like the above choice or an off-the-shoulder black top.

RSVP Red Patent Pumps, $69 Zappos
Bubblegun Cigarettes, $1.19 Old Time Candy
Love Tree Cream Fur Vest, $17.50 Zullily
Make Up For Ever's 12 Flash Color Case, $99 Sephora
If you don't know who Grumpy Cat is, run a Google image on her and prepare yourself for some chuckles. I've been a longtime fan of Grumpy Cat and decided this would be the year I take on her likeness for Halloween. Pairing with a white or neutral sweater underneath, this super affordable faux-fur vest made by Love Tree gives my costume all the snuggly-ness I'm going for. Then for the face, I use the brown and white from this colorful palate from Make Up For Ever. You can mix and match these colors and paint them anywhere on your face. I honestly recommend this for any costume you don this year, be it in the form of woman, beast, or internet meme!
Shiny Gold Tank Bodysuit, $27.99 American Apparel
Blue Chiffon Single Layer Full Skirt, $46 American Apparel
Your closet itsn't usually the first place most people think to have pieces for a new Halloween costume. But if you stocked up on solid colors and a few basics, your closet is certainly a gold mine for ideas. I bought this gold leotard and blue skirt, at separate times, from American Apparel. The combo of the two with a cute embellished belt is fit for a Cleopatra look. My costume isn't complete without the classic bright blue eye shadow and wing tip eyeliner. And for dramatics, I add a lipcolor in Ruffian Gold from MAC Cosmetics.
Take a look at these amazing pictures and be inspired, literally or vicariously, to express yourself with some colors of the rainbow.
From soft to strong, it's no longer just about being a blonde, brunette or a red head anymore. Time to experiment with some colors of the rainbow.
The trend for coloring your hair with colors of the rainbow is fun whether it's just a streak, an attached pony tail or changing you hair color completely. I've experimented with multiple shades of blonde and brunette over my lifetime. Have you added any fun colors to your hair or experimented with a whole new shade? Send me your photos and share your hair dos.

Combined Faux Leather Coat, $179 Zara
Sometimes leather can be a little too much for me, but like my pick last week, I do love the look of mixed fabric media that includes leather. That is why I love this coat from Zara! It's just the perfect amount of leather to give a boring coat a super hip, funky edge. So in love!
Christina Moffitino's Pick
Lafayette 148 New York 'Velvet' Lambskin Leather Jacket, $448.98 Nordstrom
When we shop we always want the best bang for our buck. Investing in staple pieces that will never go out of style, like leather! It will have you excited to pull out your favorites year after year. This paired with a skirt and bow tie blouse is perfect for a workday and with dark wash jeans and a high heel, perfect for a weekend.
Laser Cut Satchel, $70 Sole Society
I love the delicate, intricate laser-cut designs I've been seeing everywhere- especially with the classic look of leather.
