Stuff I Love

When it Comes to Fall Fashion.... I was overwhelmed by all the heel and boot options that I shopped early.  Coats, clothes and jewelry are beckoning from the back seat right now, but by next month they'll move into the driver's seat. Celine boots, $1,290 Simply put, Couldn't, wouldn't, shouldn't. But.... Celine.com So instead, Prada Tall Wedge Boots, $795 Walk tall, has a slim leg and better support with a wedge. And yes, they're expensive. Less expensive than the Celine boots, but still pricey. It's a splurge for a a fabulous boot to fit slim calves. Saks.com Phillip Lim 3.1 Trench Coat, $995 Living in LA I really don't have a reason to pull this fully lined trench on a daily basis, but it would be great for trips to NYC dashing from a TV studio to a cab and then dinner with girlfriends. NeimanMarcus.com M Mavi Jewelry, $200 It's all about the big Victorian cuff and this solid brass George Eliot cuff with antique gold finish on brown leather with gold snaps is bold and beautiful. All I need to wear it with is a white button down with the sleeves rolled up or a simple boat neck cashmere sweater. "Our deeds determine us as much as we determine our deeds. -George Eliot MMavi.com Prada cut-out heels, $695 I have nearly worn out my nude tone platform DVF heels and it's time for a replacement. I've chosen nude colored heels far more than any other shoe in my wardrobe all summer and I plan to keep it going strong for Fall.  These Prada heels will do the trick with just slightly more coverage! Barneys.com Tory Burch Rainelle Motorcyle Boots, $495 There's something both tough and sexy about these boots. I scooped these up during Fashion Night Out at Bloomingdale's in LA, but they can be found online at Shopbop. I've already paired these mid calf boots with black tights and a mini dress. These will look very cool worn with skinny jeans or leggings with full view of the boot details and great for travel when just the front is peaking out from under dark trouser jeans. Shopbop.com
