This week as the temperature droped at night below 50 degrees we girls in Cali had stylish comfort on our minds. How to rock a look, stay warm and still look fashionable. So here are our picks for our regular column, Friday Favorites. From super soft, velvet jeans to shimmering knits and chunky sweaters to a little luck to wear on our wrists.

Velvet Skinny Jeans, $178 7ForAllMankind

Super soft, jet black velvet skinny jeans that look great with heels and a tuxedo style jacket for evening. The "jeans" are comfortable which is always a bonus when you opt for an extra glass of wine and dessert.

Sequined Sweater, $80 Zara

It's the same every year, once the weather drops below 70 degrees, I start pulling out my favorite fall gear: leggings, boots, and cozy sweaters. I saw this lovely sweater from Zara on my recent European trip, and I am kinda mad at myself for not buying it then! It's perfectly cozy for staying warm in our California's "not quite" fall/winter season, but I am also loving the fun sequin & bow detail...so it's stylish and versatile.

Elephant Bracelet, $16 Romwe

If you're in need of a little good luck, slip one of these elephant bracelets around your wrist. They're unique, eye-catching, and so affordable! Elephants are my favorite wild animal, and these bracelets certainly bring a certain wildness to my outfit.

Speckled Rib Trim Cardigan, $268 Free People

With the temperatures dropping I always like to rock chunky knit sweaters. They're the perfect thing to pair with leggings and your favorite pair of boots. I love being comfortable and staying chic and this one from Free People is on my radar.

Kimono Style Robe, Plum Pretty Sugar $65

I am absolutely in love with these gorgeous robes from pretty plum sugar!! They are so delicate and feminine, but in a carefree sort of way. Which is perfect for me, I hate anything too "fussy"! I usually recommend these beauties for my brides and gifts for their bridesmaids for getting ready the morning of the wedding, but now I want one bad!!! It's just perfect for sunday morning breakfast and lounging around the house with the hubby!!

Galaxy Print Scarf, ROMWE $16

Forget celeb fashion- this is a different kind of Star Trend. I'm all about these conversation pieces, and I love an accessory that shows I've got smarts. This galaxy scarf has a light weight fabric that works well for the back-and-forth fall weather in LA. Plus, it's got Big Bangin' colors and stars that are bound to turn heads, and telescopes!

Monogram Locket Necklace, Etsy.com $18

I love unique jewelry and being that you can stamp your inital on the front adds the perfect personalized touch. You could wear it by itself or layered with more necklaces. The designer also does custom orders so you can even put a picture on the front or inside of the locket. This could work as a great gift with the holidays coming up in a couple months.
