A few of the latest unique shoes and bags from Sole Society

They started with shoes, expanded to bags and now have inexpensive fashion jewelry as well. It's a one stop shop for accessories almost always under $100.

Sonita Bow Tie Heels, $69.95 Sole Society and Lisette Cross-Body Bag, $99.99 Sole Society

These shoes demand attention and the heel height works for dresses, skirts or with your ankle skimming pants. I adore the bag for it's feminine appeal and that I can carry it by the handle or wear it cross-body which is perfect at cocktail parties when you plan to carry a drink and try the finger foods.  It's also the ideal bag for vacations since we don't carry as much with us during the day or night when on holiday.

Jillian Lace Up Bootie, $79.95 Sole Society and Cassidy Medium Weekender, $69.95 Sole Society

This shoe answers your question when you're debating between pulling on boots or wearing heels. The bag is perfect for plane rides. It's faux leather so you won't care about scuff marks and it holds an iPad, books, magazines and other essentials. In fact, it holds so much you'll be tempted to fill it up and sway to one side while carrying it.

Packing for a vacation that will take you on the high seas? I've got you covered with what to pack and what to know before you go with great information from

In a poll posed to over 100 million users we found

- Royal Caribbean was the favorite cruise line among almost half of respondents, beating out Princess, Carnival and Norwegian.

- The Mediterranean is a top spot for cruises.

- Of all the general questions about packing for travel, cruises took the top spot. One of the most important things to keep in mind is what types of activities you’ll be participating in when you’re actually off the ship.

- The all-inclusive nature of a cruise is the number one feature that appeals to them about a cruise.

- While we love the buffets and endless food options on a cruise, I always pack a body shaper when I travel so I look smoother in my clothes. Nobody wants to look back on photos later and wish they had skipped dessert.

- When packing think about how an outfit can work double duty. One day it’s a dress and then next it’s a cover-up.

Pack items that are wrinkle resistant so you can pull them from your suitcase and throw them on. Nobody wants to iron on vacation.

Cristina & Alison

Style Expert Alison Deyette pits Broadway, TV, music and movie star Vanessa Williams against Today Show host Willie Geist for a FASHION FACE-OFF!!

Vanessa and Willie had just 30 seconds to dress their models in the best possible outfits within three different categories: How to Wear White, How to Dress Cool but Office Appropriate and How to Create an Outfit Right for Day to Night. Aimed to answer users’ popular fashion questions of the summer, we hope we helped.

Watch the fashion frenzy and see who wins!

Some of the many brands we included in the segment: Maggy London, Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent, Sole Society, RJ Graziano, Trina Turk, Ann Taylor, JC Penney, H & M, Milly, Botkier

-You can wear white all year long. Go from cotton and linen in the Summer months and switch to cashmere, wool and denim for the Fall and Winter months.

-While an all white outfit can seem perfect for a hot and humid day it can also appear a bit boring. Add a little color with your handbag, sandals and jewelry. White can be the perfect "canvas" to make those colors pop.

-Even when it's hot outside, it's still inappropriate to bare excessive skin in the office. Add a jacket or lightweight cardigan over a skimpy sundress or strapless dress. Don't go shorter than mid-thigh with dresses and skirts. You know it's wrong if you bend over and we can see your panties. Summer party clothes are for parties, not the office.

-Simple changes to go from day to night: switch flats for heels and add bolder jewelry.

How will you be styling your short looks this summer? Here I styled plenty of looks that go from work to weekend, and brunch to cocktails.

Thanks to (L-R): Christina, plus the board members of Step Up Women's Network - Jan, Tiffany, Daniella & Kim for modeling shorts fashions.

Here are our top picks for steppin' out in style this summer... from wedges to flats to even boy-style oxfords.

Alison's Pick

Lillian Mirror Metallic Wedges, $198 J. Crew

I already own this style in a honey brown suede and they've become my go-to sandal to pair with jeans and dresses. So when J. Crew offered it in metallic, I had to snap it up. This do-it-all sandal is low enough to go anywhere and keep me comfortable yet chic. Comfort is a must on days dashing around stores and styling clients.

Gramercy Oxford in Rooftop Nubuck/Sunlight, $198 Cole Haan

I own an almost embarrassing sum of oxfords and brogues. I definitely have more than my husband does. Multiple colors, and even metallic patent leather ones. I love them because I can sport my tomboy side and they're supremely comfortable. These are always in my suitcase on trips back to NYC. I'd much rather wear these walking around the city than sneakers. My Converse, as cute as they are, offer no foot support.
Now or Never by Chinese Laundry, $59 Piperlime
I know these look similar to my J. Crew picks, but I also know I'll wear sandals with a demi-wedge all Summer. Whether it's these or another designer's style, you can't go wrong with a black pair, camel-colored pair and a metallic pair to get you through the summer months.

Lauren's Pick

Cheeky Heels, $80 Seychelle's Footwear

These shorter heels are so comfortable for strolls along the Santa Monica promenade, warm evening parties, or just a cute, dressy day at work. I'm loving the mint color for Spring and Summer. They also come in cobalt and black with bows in place of the flowers, but the flowers were too cute and springy for me to pass up.

Serena Sandal, $125 Nordstrom

I just love these Sam Endelman shoes we used in a styled wedding shoot. They're style is perfect to dress up or down for the summer, and that coral is just the perfect pop of color. Love them!

Emma (Creme&Black), $50 Sole Society

Every girl needs a go-to shoe. For me, this Summer, it's these color blocked wedges. I love that they are a neutral color I can pair with a variety of different looks. They're super stylish and surprisingly comfortable. I've already taken them out for a night of dancing and a long day of graduation events. I'm proud to report back that any gal would be happy to sport them on a summer getaway or even for a date night with the ladies.

It's a "Friday Free For All, Y'all" for this week's Friday Favorites. While we love our themed choices, we decided this week it was blogger's choice of what was making them happy. From sparkly shoes to a little love wrapped around your finger we hope enjoy our picks.

Alison's Pick

Harper Oxford Flat, on sale for $33.47 Sole Society

They may not be red, but they're definitely Dorothy approved. I headed to the freezing temperatures of the east coast to be on QVC several times over the next few days and baby, it's cold outside. I'm ready to click my heels three times because "There's no place like home," especially when it's warmer in Los Angeles.

Lauren's Pick

Hot Air Balloon, $58 BHDLN

Perfect to add a whimsical touch to your home decor. Originally meant as a wedding decoration, I use this at home by my desk to keep notepads and important keepsakes afloat. It'd also be great to keep that pile of mail off the kitchen counter, or maybe by your bookshelf to hold some of your favorites. Either way, it's a little element of fantasy to perhaps transport your home to Oz and back!

Oh no, I welcome these fun jewels & accessories anytime, like this beautiful love ring with diamond accent. This ring is the perfect way to think of my love all throughout the year!!

Cranberry Gommage Exfoliator, $42 Arcona

Your face is the money maker! You always want to keep it fresh and looking great. It's advised to exfoliate your face 2-4 times a week and my face is absolutley in love with this Cranberry Exfoliator. I've noticed a difference in my face with it staying smooth and clear. The cranberry smell is so great I think I might be a litle addicted to washing my face just because of the smell! Definitely a great product to add to your beauty regimen.

Christina Wright's Pick

Cambridge Crossing Suede Wedges, Shop Ruge $70

Imagine Me and Meow Dress $57.99 at ModCloth

Nevermind that Labor Day has come and gone. I'll wear my whites until I run outta bleach to wash them. If you know anything about me, you know I LOVE the cats, and this kitty adorned dress is too adorable to pass up for fall. It goes well with flats, or a black pair of boots for the season, and it's great to wear to work or dress up for a date (Imagine me and meow...).

Colaterl Leather Riding Boot, Steve Madden $110

I like summer, but I most definitley LOVE fall, partly because I have an obsession with boots and coats. These Steve Madden riding boots are haunting me in my sleep and are on my must-have list for fall fashion. The boots are all leather, so they'll last through the cold winter months and then some. I find it hard to find knee high boots because, frankly, they won't fit over my dancer calves. These are perfect because they have elastic around the top rim of the boot so it'll be a lot more comfortable as I'm stepping on all of the fallen crunchy leaves.
